Buying Used
When given options, buying used stuff can save a ton of money, and most of the times you don’t even have to compromise on quality. I can share a few examples, some of which are through my own experiences: Cars, phone, clothes, books and furnitures.
Used iPhone can save you hundreds of dollars. Amazon offers used phones with excellent conditions. Watch out when you buy used Apple watch though, as you need to make sure it is been fully deactivated from the previous carrier. Otherwise, activating is a major issue.
Buying a used car used to be a physically and mentally draining experience. Nowadays, online used car dealers made used-car shopping experience easy and efficient. Take Carvana as an example. You can view its used car in inventory on your phone. All details about the car, internal and external images, history, and imperfections are available online.
Price of a two-year Tesla model Y was less than 2/3 of a new one! Even better, purchasing literally takes just a few clicks. You have a week to test drive the car and return it with full refund if you don’t like it. Buying used car and saving money is made so much easier!
For students, textbooks can be costly. Used textbooks are great alternative with smaller budget. Used clothes on Poshmark are fashion at a discount. Finally, buy used furnitures and electronics such as printers and TVs on Nextdoor and Craigslist can help cut down prices by big portion!
